Workshop: Felted Flowers with Mallory Zondag - Sept 16

Learn the ancient and awesome art of wet felting from contemporary fiber artist, Mallory Zondag, while creating your own unique wooly flowers. Using wool, hot water, olive oil soap and your own two hands, you can transform unspun wool into sculptable fabric. You will learn how to wet felt, how to create organic shapes, and how to make multi-layered felt patterns to create lovely floral forms!

Much of the wool used in this workshop will be from local Charlton sheep farms and hand-dyed using everyday ingredients like onions, strawberries, avocados and black walnuts! 

Cost: $55.00 workshop instruction, $15.00 materials

Skill level: beginner/intermediate

Ages: 13 and up. 8-12 with parental assistance.
